Chapter 10: Ṛśyaśṛṅga Comes to Romapada’s kingdom
Text 1.10.10
ततः कदाचित्देशमाजगाम यदृच्छया।
विभण्डकसुतस्तत्र ताश्चापश्यद्वराङ्गनाः॥
tataḥ kadācit deśam ājagāma yadṛcchayā
vibhaṇḍaka-sutas tatra tāś cāpaśyad varāṅganāḥ
tataḥ kadācit = one day; deśam = to the forest; ājagāma = came; yadṛcchayā = by the will of providence; vibhaṇḍaka-sutaḥ = the son of Vibhaṇḍaka; tatra = there; tāḥ = those; ca = and; apaśyat = saw; varāṅganāḥ = courtesan ladies.
One day, by the will of providence, the son of Vibhaṇḍaka came to the forest and saw those courtesan ladies there.
