Chapter 12: Preparation for the Aśvamedha Sacrifice
Text 1.12.3
तथेति च स राजानमुवाच च सुसत्कृतः।
सम्भाराः सम्भ्रियन्तां ते तुरगश्च विमुच्यताम्॥
tatheti ca sa rājānam uvāca ca susatkṛtaḥ
sambhārāḥ sambhriyantāṁ te turagaś ca vimucyatām
tathā iti = Ṛśyaśṛṅga said, “alright”; ca = and; saḥ = he; rājānam = the king; uvāca ca = then told; susatkṛtaḥ = being well respected; sambhārāḥ = ingredients; sambhriyantām = have procured; te = the; turagaḥ = the horse; ca = and; vimucyatām = let be released.
And Ṛśyaśṛṅga said, “Alright.” Being well respected, he then told the king: Have the ingredients procured and let the horse be released.
