Chapter 13: Daśaratha Goes to the Sacrificial Arena
Text 1.13.17
ततः सर्वे समागम्य वसिष्ठमिदमब्रुवन्।
यथोक्तं तत्सुविहितं न किञ्चित्परिहीयते॥
tataḥ sarve samāgamya vasiṣṭham idam abruvan
yathoktaṁ tat suvihitaṁ na kiñcit parihīyate
tataḥ = then; sarve = all of them; samāgamya = came back and; vasiṣṭham = Vasiṣṭha; idam = the following; abruvan = told; yatha-uktam = as prescribed by you; tat suvihitam = we have done everything exactly; na = not; kiñcit = any thing; parihīyate = we have left undone.
All of them then came back and told Vasiṣṭha the following: We have done everything exactly as prescribed by you. We have not left any thing undone.
They did as instructed by Vasiṣṭha.
