Chapter 13: Daśaratha Goes to the Sacrificial Arena
Text 1.13.39
द्रष्टुमर्हसि राजेन्द्र मनसेव विनिर्मितम्॥
draṣṭum arhasi rājendra manaseva vinirmitam
draṣṭum arhasi = O emperor; raja-indra = you should see [for yourself what has been constructed]; manasa = constructed by the mind; iva = as if; vinirmitam = it is.
O Emperor, you should see for yourself what has been constructed; it is as if constructed by the mind.
1 The mind is faster than the physical body. The preparation of the sacrificial arena was so fast that it was as if prepared by the minds of the people.
The example of the mind conveys the speed at which it has been accomplished.1
