Chapter 13: Daśaratha Goes to the Sacrificial Arena
Text 1.13.5
तथेति च स राजानमब्रवीद्द्विजसत्तमः।
करिष्ये सर्वमेवैतद्भवता यत्समर्थितम्॥
tatheti ca sa rājānam abravīd dvija-sattamaḥ
kariṣye sarvam evaitad bhavatā yat samarthitam
tathā iti ca = Alright; saḥ = that; rājānam = the king; abravīt = told; dvija-sattamaḥ = best of the twice-born; kariṣye = I shall execute; sarvam eva etat = all; bhavatā = you; yat = that; samarthitam = have fully prayed for.
That best of the twicebon told the king, “Alright. I shall execute all that you have fully prayed for.”
