Chapter 22: The Departure of Rāma and Lakṣmaṇa with Viśvāmitra
Text 1.22.1

तथा वसिष्ठे ब्रुवति राजा दशरथः सुतम्।
प्रहृष्टवदनो राममाजुहाव सलक्ष्मणम्॥

tathā vasiṣṭhe bruvati rājā daśarathaḥ sutam
prahṛṣṭa-vadano
rāmam ājuhāva salakṣmaṇam

tathā = thus; vasiṣṭhe = Vasiṣṭha; bruvati = when spoke; rājā = King; daśarathaḥ = Daśaratha; sutam = his son; prahṛṣṭa-vadanaḥ = with a happy face; rāmam = Rāma; ājuhāva = called;  salakṣmaṇam = along with Lakṣmaṇa.

When Vasiṣṭha spoke thus, King Daśaratha with a happy face called his son Rāma along with Lakṣmaṇa.

In this chapter, it is described that the king became pleased at heart to send off Lord Rāma. He called Lakṣmaṇa knowing that They are inseparable.
