Chapter 28: Viśvāmitra Teaches Rāma to Withdraw Divine Weapons

स च तान्राघवो ज्ञात्वा विश्वामित्रं महामुनिम्।
गच्छन्नेवाथ मधुरं श्लक्ष्णं वचनमब्रवीत्॥
sa ca tān rāghavo jñātvā viśvāmitraṁ mahā-munim
gacchann evātha madhuraṁ ślakṣṇaṁ vacanam abravīt
saḥ ca = the; tān = with them; rāghavaḥ = Rāghava Rāma; jñātvā = having become acquainted; viśvāmitram = to Viśvāmitra; mahā-munim = the great sage; gacchann eva atha = while departing; madhuram = sweet; ślakṣṇam = and distinct; vacanam = the following words; abravīt = spoke.
Having become acquainted with them, Rāghava Rāma spoke the following sweet and distinct words to the great sage Viśvāmitra while departing.
