Chapter 29: The History of Siddhāśrama
Text 1.29.12
शरीरे तव पश्यामि जगत्सर्वमिदं प्रभो।
त्वमनादिरनिर्देश्यस्त्वामहं शरणं गतः॥
śarīre tava paśyāmi jagat sarvam idaṁ prabho
tvam anādir anirdeśyas tvām ahaṁ śaraṇaṁ gataḥ
śarīre = in body; tava = Your; paśyāmi = I see; jagat = world; sarvam = entire; idam = this; prabhuḥ = O Lord; tvam = You; anādiḥ = are beginningless; anirdeśyaḥ = and limitless; tvām = of You; aham = I; śaraṇam gataḥ = take shelter as my protector.
O Lord, I see this entire world in Your body. You are beginningless and limitless. I take shelter of You as my protector.

Kaśyapa states that he sees this entire world consisting of the living and nonliving on the body of the Supreme Lord. Indeed, this is also stated in Bhagavad-gītā:
paśyāmi devāṁs tava deva dehe
sarvāṁs tathā bhūta-viśeṣa-saṅghān
brahmāṇam īśaṁ kamalāsana-stham
ṛṣīṁś ca sarvān uragāṁś ca divyān
[Arjuna said:] “My dear Lord Kṛṣṇa, I see assembled in Your body all the demigods and various other living entities. I see Brahmā sitting on the lotus flower, as well as Lord Śiva and all the sages and divine serpents.”
Since the entire world is also stated in the scripture to be a body of the Supreme Lord, this verse can also mean that Kaśyapa sees the entire world to be a body of the Supreme Lord.
That the Lord is beginningless means that He was never generated. Anirdeśyaḥ [literally meaning “incapable of being defined”] means “He who cannot be defined as being limited to such and such extent.”
NOTE. In this regard, Śrīla Madhvācārya has quoted from the Hari-vaṁśa:
sarvaṁ harer vaśatvena śarīraṁ tasya bhaṇyate
ananyādhipatitvāc ca tad ananyam udīryate
na cāpy abhedo jagatāṁ viṣṇoḥ pūrṇa-guṇasya tu
“Because everything is under the control of the Supreme Lord Hari, everything is considered to be His body. He is the original source and master of everything, and therefore nothing should be seen as different from Him. Nonetheless, one should not foolishly conclude that there is absolutely no difference between the material universe and Lord Viṣṇu, who is full of His own unique spiritual qualities.”1
