उपासां चक्रतुर्वीरौ यत्तौ परमधन्विनौ।
ररक्षतुर्मुनिवरं विश्वामित्रमरिन्दमौ॥
upāsāṁ cakratur vīrau yattau parama-dhanvinau
rarakṣatur muni-varaṁ viśvāmitram arindamau
upāsām cakratuh vīrau = the heroes were awake; yattau = and ready [to ward off any attack]; parama-dhanvinau = with excellent bows; rarakṣatuḥ = protected; muni-varam = the excellent muni; viśvāmitram = Viśvāmitra; arindamau = those destroyers of foes.
The heroes were awake and ready [to ward off any attack] with excellent bows. Those destroyers of foes protected the excellent Viśvāmitra Muni.
