Chapter 37: The History of Skanda
Text 1.37.11

ते गत्वा पर्वतं राम कैलासं धातुमण्डितम्।
अग्निं नियोजयामासुः पुत्रार्थं सर्वदैवताः॥

te gatvā parvataṁ rāma kailāsaṁ dhātu-maṇḍitam
agniṁ
niyojayām āsuḥ putrārthaṁ sarva-daivatāḥ

te = the; gatvā = then went to and; parvatam = the mountain; rāma = O Rāma; kailāsam = Kailāsa; dhātu-maṇḍitam = that is decorated with valuable minerals; agnim = Agni; niyojayām āsuḥ = engaged; putra-artham = to generate a son; sarva-daivatāḥ = all demigods.

O Rāma, all the demigods then went to the mountain Kailāsa that is decorated with valuable minerals and engaged Agni to generate a son.

Kailāsa is a place where a form of Agni resides.
