Chapter 41: Aṁśumān Searches for His Uncles and the Horse
Text 1.41.12
तेषां तद्वचनं श्रुत्वा जगाम लघुविक्रमः।
भस्मराशीकृता यत्र पितरस्तस्य सागराः॥
teṣāṁ tad vacanaṁ śrutvā jagāma laghu-vikramaḥ
bhasma-rāśī-kṛtā yatra pitaras tasya sāgarāḥ
teṣām = their; tat vacanam = words; śrutvā = after hearing; jagāma = Aṁśumān went; laghu-vikramaḥ = quickly; bhasma-rāśī-kṛtāḥ = had been burnt into ashes; yatra = to that place where; pitaraḥ = younger fathers; tasya = his; sāgarāḥ = the sons of Sagara.
After hearing their words, Aṁśumān quickly went to that place where his younger fathers, the sons of Sagara, had been burnt into ashes.
