Chapter 48: Gautama Curses Ahalyā
Text 1.48.14
तच्छ्रुत्वा राघवेणोक्तं वाक्यं वाक्यविशारदः।
प्रत्युवाच महातेजा विश्वामित्रो महामुनिः॥
tac chrutvā rāghaveṇoktaṁ vākyaṁ vākya-viśāradaḥ
pratyuvāca mahā-tejā viśvāmitro mahā-muniḥ
tat śrutvā rāghaveṇa uktam vākyam = upon hearing the words uttered by Lord Rāghava; vākya-viśāradaḥ = expert in the usage of words; pratyuvāca = replied as follows; mahā-tejāḥ = of great prowess; viśvāmitraḥ = Viśvāmitra; mahā-muniḥ = the great sage.
Upon hearing the words uttered by Lord Rāghava, Viśvāmitra of great prowess, the great sage expert in the usage of words, replied as follows.
