Chapter 51: King Viśvāmitra Arrives at Vasiṣṭha’s Āśrama
Text 1.51.3
स तौ निषण्णौ सम्प्रेक्ष्य सुखासीनौ नृपात्मजौ।
शतानन्दो मुनिश्रेष्ठं विश्वामित्रमथाब्रवीत्॥
sa tau niṣaṇṇau samprekṣya sukhāsīnau nṛpātmajau
śatānando muni-śreṣṭhaṁ viśvāmitram athābravīt
saḥ = the sage; tau = the; niṣaṇṇau = seated; samprekṣya = and seeing; sukha-āsīnau = comfortably; nṛpa-ātmajau = princes; śatānandaḥ = Śatānanda; muni-śreṣṭham = to the foremost of sages; viśvāmitram = Viśvāmitra; atha abravīt spoke the following words.
And seeing the princes comfortably seated, the sage Śatānanda spoke the following words to the foremost of sages, Viśvāmitra.
