Chapter 52: Śabalā, Vasiṣṭha’s Wish-fulfilling Cow
Text 1.52.10
सर्वत्र कुशलं राजा वसिष्ठं प्रत्युदाहरत्।
विश्वामित्रो महातेजा वसिष्ठं विनयान्वितम्॥
sarvatra kuśalaṁ rājā vasiṣṭhaṁ pratyudāharat
viśvāmitro mahā-tejā vasiṣṭhaṁ vinayānvitam
sarvatra kuśalam = about the welfare of everything Vasiṣṭha had asked for; rājā = king; vasiṣṭham = to the prosperous; pratyudāharat = thereupon replied; viśvāmitraḥ = Viśvāmitra; mahā-tejāḥ = the greatly powerful; vasiṣṭham = Vasiṣṭha; vinaya-anvitam = humbly.
Thereupon, the greatly powerful King Viśvāmitra humbly replied to the prosperous Vasiṣṭha about the welfare of everything Vasiṣṭha had asked for.
