Chapter 58: King Triśaṅku Cursed
Text 1.58.11
तच्छ्रुत्वा घोरसङ्काशम् ऋषिपुत्रैश्च भाषितम्।
प्राविशत्स्वपुरं राजा चिन्तयामास दुःखितः॥
tac chrutvā ghora-saṅkāśam ṛṣi-putraiś ca bhāṣitam
prāviśat sva-puraṁ rājā cintayām āsa duḥkhitaḥ
tat śrutvā = upon hearing; ghora-saṅkāśam = the dreadful; ṛṣi-putraiḥ ca = of the sage’s sons; bhāṣitam = words; prāviśat = entered; sva-puram = his city; rājā = the king; cintayām āsa = and worried; duḥkhitaḥ = in distress.
Upon hearing the dreadful words of the sage’s sons, the king entered his city and worried in distress.
