Chapter 59: Viśvāmitra Assures Triśaṅku
Text 1.59.9
तस्य तद्वचनं श्रुत्वा दिशो जग्मुस्तदाज्ञया।
आजग्मुरथ देशेभ्यः सर्वेभ्यो ब्रह्मवादिनः॥
tasya tad vacanaṁ śrutvā diśo jagmus tad-ājñayā
ājagmur atha deśebhyaḥ sarvebhyo brahma-vādinaḥ
tasya tat vacanam śrutvā = upon hearing his words; diśaḥ jagmuḥ = they set out in all directions; tat-ājñayā = on his order; ājagmuḥ atha = and then returned; deśebhyaḥ sarvebhyaḥ = from all those countries; brahma-vādinaḥ = [all of those disciples] of that Vedic sage.
Upon hearing his words, they set out in all directions on his order and then [all of those disciples] of that Vedic sage returned from all those countries.
