Chapter 65: Viśvāmitra Becomes a Brahmarṣi
Text 1.65.15

बुद्धिं न कुरुते यावन्नाशे देव महामुनिः।
तावत्प्रसाद्यो भगवानग्निरूपो महाद्युतिः॥

buddhiṁ na kurute yāvan nāśe deva mahā-muniḥ
tāvat
prasādyo bhagavān agni-rūpo mahā-dyutiḥ

buddhim na kurute yāvat = before Viśvāmitra sets his mind; nāśe = upon destroying the universe; deva = O Lord Brahmā; mahā-muniḥ = he is a great sage; tāvat prasādyaḥ = he should be blessed [with the boon he seeks]; bhagavān = powerfu; agni-rūpaḥ = like fire; mahā-dyutiḥ = greatly splendorous.

O Lord Brahmā, before Viśvāmitra sets his mind upon destroying the universe, he should be blessed [with the boon he seeks]. He is a great sage, powerful and greatly splendorous like fire.
