Bāla-kāṇḍa
Chapter 65: Viśvāmitra Becomes a Brahmarṣi
Text 1.65.32

अप्रमेयं तपस्तुभ्यमप्रमेयं च ते बलम्।
अप्रमेया गुणाश्चैव नित्यं ते कुशिकात्मज।
पितामहस्य च यथा यथा चैव ह्युमापतेः॥

aprameyaṁ tapas tubhyam aprameyaṁ ca te balam
aprameyā
guṇāś caiva nityaṁ te kuśikātmaja
pitāmahasya
ca yathā yathā caiva hy umā-pateḥ

aprameyam = is immeasurable; tapaḥ = austerity; tubhyam = your; aprameyam ca = is immeasurable; te = your; balam = prowess; aprameyāḥ = immeasurable; guṇāḥ ca eva = qualities; nityam = are always; te = your; kuśika-atmaja = O son of Kuśika; pitāmahasya ca yathā = like the qualities of Grandfather Brahmā; yathā ca eva hi umā-pateḥ = and the husband of Umā.

Your austerity is immeasurable. Your prowess is immeasurable. O son of Kuśika, like the qualities of Grandfather Brahmā and the husband of Umā, your qualities are always immeasurable.

Viśvāmitra’s austerity, prowess and qualities are immeasurable—one cannot know their extent.
