दिष्ट्या मे निर्जिता विघ्ना दिष्ट्या मे पूजितं कुलम्।
राघवैः सह सम्बन्धो वीर्यश्रेष्ठैर्महात्मभिः॥
diṣṭyā me nirjitā vighnā diṣṭyā me pūjitaṁ kulam
rāghavaiḥ saha sambandho vīrya-śreṣṭhair mahātmabhiḥ
diṣṭyā me = it is my good fortune that; nirjitāḥ = have been overcome; vighnāḥ = the obstacles [to getting my daughter married]; diṣṭyā me = it is my good fortune that; pūjitam = has become fortune; kulam = my family; rāghavaiḥ saha = with the descendants of Raghu; sambandhaḥ = for we now have a matrimonial alliance; vīrya-śreṣṭhaiḥ = and the best in heroism; mahā-ātmabhiḥ = they are great souls.
It is my good fortune that the obstacles [to getting my daughter married] have been overcome. It is my good fortune that my family has become fortune, for we now have a matrimonial alliance with the descendants of Raghu. They are great souls and the best in heroism.
