Chapter 74: The Arrival of Paraśurāma
Text 1.74.4
अथ राजा विदेहानां ददौ कन्याधनं बहु॥
atha rājā videhānāṁ dadau kanyā-dhanaṁ bahu
atha = then; rājā = the king; videhānām = of Videha; dadau = gave; kanyā-dhanam wealth to his daughters; bahu = much.
Then the king of Videha gave much wealth to his daughters.
