Text 2.1.43

पूर्णचन्द्राननस्याथ शोकापनुदमात्मनः।
लोके रामस्य बुबुधे सम्प्रियत्वं महात्मनः॥

pūrṇa-candrānanasyātha śokāpanudam ātmanaḥ
loke rāmasya bubudhe sampriyatvaṁ mahātmanaḥ

pūrṇa-candra-ānanasya = whose face showered nectar [could bring about]; atha = then; śoka-apanudam = that would eradicate anxieties; ātmanaḥ = his; loke = in the world; rāmasya = Rāma; bubudhe = he sensed; sampriyatvam = the complete happiness that; mahā-ātmanaḥ = the grealy intelligent.

He then sensed the complete happiness in the world that would eradicate his anxieties that the greatly intelligent Rāma whose face showered nectar [could bring about].

That Rāma could bring about great happiness in the world was another reason for Daśaratha to coronate Rāma. Rāma could remove the sufferings of all like the full moon. The happiness that Rāma would bring about would remove Daśaratha’s anxiety caused by his witnessing the various omens.
