हा कौसल्ये नशिष्यामि हा सुमित्रे तपस्विनि।
हा नृशंसे ममामित्रे कैकेयि कुलपांसनि॥
hā kausalye naśiṣyāmi hā sumitre tapasvini
hā nṛśaṁse mamāmitre kaikeyi kula-pāṁsani
hā kausalye = O kausalyā; naśiṣyāmi = I will perish; hā sumitre = O Sumitrā; tapasvini = austere; hā nṛśaṁse = O cruel; mama amitre = you are my enemy; kaikeyi = Kaikeyī; kula-pāṁsani = and you have defiled this dynasty.
O Kausalyā, O austere Sumitrā, I will perish. O cruel Kaikeyī, you are my enemy and you have defiled this dynasty.
