Chapter 117: Anasūyā Instructs Sītā About Strī-dharma
Text 2.117.5
सोऽत्रेराश्रममासाद्य तं ववन्दे महायशाः।
तं चापि भगवानत्रिः पुत्रवत्प्रत्यपद्यत॥
so ’trer āśramam āsādya taṁ vavande mahā-yaśāḥ
taṁ cāpi bhagavān atriḥ putravat pratyapadyata
saḥ = the; atreḥ = Atri’s; āśramam = āśrama; āsādya = upon reaching; tam = unto Him; vavande = offered obeisances; mahā-yaśāḥ = greatly illustrious Rāma; tam ca = Him; api bhagavān = the powerful; atriḥ = Atri; putravat = as if He were his son; pratyapadyata = received.
Upon reaching Atri’s āśrama, the greatly illustrious Rāma offered obeisances unto him. The powerful Atri received Him as if He were his son.
