Chapter 119: Rāma Departs to Daṇḍakāraṇya
Text 2.119.21

इतीव तैः प्राञ्जलिभिस्तपस्विभिर्द्विजैः कृतस्वस्त्ययनः परंतपः॥
वनं सभार्यः प्रविवेश राघवः सलक्ष्मणः सूर्य इवाभ्रमण्डलम्॥२१॥

itīva taiḥ prāñjalibhis tapasvibhir
dvijaiḥ kṛta-svasty-ayanaḥ parantapaḥ
vanaṁ sabhāryaḥ praviveśa rāghavaḥ
salakṣmaṇaḥ sūrya ivābhra-maṇḍalam

itīva = then; taiḥ = they; prāñjalibhiḥ = with joined hands; tapasvibhiḥ = the ascetics; dvijaiḥ = twice-born; kṛta-svasti-ayanaḥ = who pronounced blessings of auspiciousness; parantapaḥ = the scorcher of enemies; vanam = the forest; sabhāryaḥ = with His wife; praviveśa = then entered; rāghavaḥ = Rāghava; salakṣmaṇaḥ = with Lakṣmaṇa; sūryaḥ = the sun; iva = like; abhra-maṇḍalam = entering a mass of clouds.

The twice-born ascetics then joined their palms in supplication and pronounced blessings of auspiciousness. The scorcher of enemies Rāghava then entered the forest with His wife and Lakṣmaṇa like the sun entering a mass of clouds.
