Chapter 11: Rāma Goes to Agastya’s Āśrama
Text 3.11.18
ताश्चैवाप्सरसः पञ्च मुनेः पत्नीत्वमागताः।
तटाके निर्मितं तासामस्मिन्नन्तर्हितं गृहम्॥
tāś caivāpsarasaḥ pañca muneḥ patnītvam āgatāḥ
taṭāke nirmitaṁ tāsām asminn antarhitaṁ gṛham
tāḥ = those; ca eva = and; apsarasaḥ = apsarās; pañca = five; muneḥ = of the sage; patnītvam āgatāḥ = became the wives; taṭāke = lake; nirmitam = was constructed [by the sage]; tāsām = for them; asmin = this; antarhitam = inside; gṛham = a house.
Those five apsarās became the wives of the sage and a house was constructed [by the sage] for them inside this lake.
