Chapter 15: Lakṣmaṇa Constructs an Āśrama for Rāma in Pañcavaṭī
Text 3.15.8
सुप्रीतस्तेन वाक्येन लक्ष्मणस्य महात्मनः।
विमृशन्रोचयामास देशं सर्वगुणान्वितम्॥
suprītas tena vākyena lakṣmaṇasya mahātmanaḥ
vimṛśan rocayām āsa deśaṁ sarva-guṇānvitam
suprītaḥ = very pleased; tena = with the; vākyena = words; lakṣmaṇasya = Lakṣmaṇa; mahā-ātmanaḥ = of the great soul; vimṛśan = [Rāma] looked for and; rocayām āsa = informed Lakṣmaṇa; deśam = a place; sarva-guṇa-anvitam = that had all good qualities.
Very pleased with the words of the great soul Lakṣmaṇa, [Rāma] looked for a place that had all good qualities and informed Lakṣmaṇa.1
