इमां विरूपामसतीं करालां निर्णतोदरीम्।
अनेन ते सह भ्रात्रा भक्षयिष्यामि मानुषीम् ॥
imāṁ virūpām asatīṁ karālāṁ nirṇatodarīm
anena te saha bhrātrā bhakṣayiṣyāmi mānuṣīm
imām = this; virūpām = ugly; asatīm = unchaste; karālām = deformed 2; nirṇata-udarīm = with a protruding belly; anena = this; te = of Yours; saha = as well as; bhrātrā = brother; bhakṣayiṣyāmi = I will eat; mānuṣīm = human woman.
I will eat this ugly, unchaste, deformed human woman with a protruding belly as well as this brother of Yours.1

Rāvaṇa that Sītā is the most beautiful female in the universe. Either Sītā was ugly or beautiful (at least at a given point in time). It cannot be that she suddenly became beautiful after fourteen thousand rākṣasas were destroyed! Therefore, it must be concluded that the demoniac mind comes up with absurd ideas because it is characteristically unable to distinguish between reality and unreality.
