Chapter 64: Rāma Discovers Some Clues About Sītā’s Whereabouts
Text 3.64.19
मैथिली ह्रियमाणा सा दिशं यामन्वपद्यत।
तेन मार्गेण धावन्तो निरीक्षन्ते नराधिपम्॥
maithilī hriyamāṇā sā diśaṁ yām anvapadyata
tena mārgeṇa dhāvanto nirīkṣante narādhipam
maithilī = Maithilī; hriyamāṇā = when was kidnapped; sā = she; diśam = direction that; yām = in the; anvapadyata = was taken; tena = along; mārgeṇa = the pathway; dhāvantaḥ = while they ran; nirīkṣante = they looked; nara-adhipam = at Prince Rāma.
They looked at Prince Rāma while they ran along the pathway in the direction that Maithilī was taken when she was kidnapped.
