Text 3.67.22
रामस्तस्य तु विज्ञाय बाष्पपूर्णमुखस्तदा।
द्विगुणीकृततापार्तः सीतासक्तां प्रियां कथाम्॥
rāmas tasya tu vijñāya bāṣpa-pūrṇa-mukhas tadā
dvi-guṇī-kṛta-tāpārtaḥ sītā-saktāṁ priyāṁ kathām
rāmas = when Śrī Rāma; tasya tu = about the vulture’s; vijñāya = heard; bāṣpa-pūrṇa-mukhaḥ tadā = His face became filled with tears; dvi-guṇī-kṛta-tāpa-ārtaḥ = and He became pained by double the amount of distress; sītā-saktām = of Sītā-devī; priyām = pleasant; kathām = description.
When Śrī Rāma heard about the vulture’s pleasant description of Sītā-devī, His face became filled with tears and He became pained by double the amount of distress.1
1 His pain had doubled because Sītā-devī was abducted and Jaṭāyu was in pain, nearing his death.
