Chapter 71: Kabandha’s Past Life
Text 3.71.18

स त्वं रामोऽसि भद्रं ते नाहमन्येन राघव।
शक्यो हन्तुं यथातत्त्वमेवमुक्तं महर्षिणा॥

sa tvaṁ rāmo ’si bhadraṁ te nāham anyena rāghava
śakyo hantuṁ yathā-tattvam evam uktaṁ maha-rṣiṇā

saḥ = that; tvam = You; rāmaḥ = Rāma; asi = are; bhadram = auspiciousness; te = unto You; na = not; aham = me; anyena = for anyone else; rāghava = O Rāghava; śakyaḥ = because it is possible; hantum = to slay; yathā-tattvam = correctly; evam = thus; uktam = has spoken; mahā-ṛṣiṇā = the great sage.

You are that Rāma because it is not possible for anyone else to slay me. The great sage has thus spoken correctly. Auspiciousness unto You, O Rāghava!
