Chapter 10: Ṛśyaśṛṅga Comes to Romapada’s kingdom

रोमपादमुवाचेदं सहामात्यपुरोहितः।
उपायो निरपायोऽयमस्माभिरभिचिन्तितः॥
romapādam uvācedaṁ sahāmātya-purohitaḥ
upāyo nirapāyo ’yam asmābhir abhicintitaḥ
romapādam = Romapāda; uvāca = told;; idam = as follows; saha-amātya-purohitaḥ = along with the ministers, the priest; upāyaḥ = means [to get Ṛśyaśṛṅga]; nirapāyaḥ = foolproof; ayam = of the following; asmābhiḥ = we; abhicintitaḥ = have carefully thought.
Along with the ministers, the priest told Romapāda as follows: We have carefully thought of the following foolproof means to get Ṛśyaśṛṅga.
