Chapter 11: Daśaratha Brings Ṛśyaśṛṅga to Ayodhyā
Text 1.11.17
ततो राजा यथान्यायं पूजां चक्रे विशेषतः।
सखित्वात्तस्य वै राज्ञः प्रहृष्टेनान्तरात्मना॥
tato rājā yathā-nyāyaṁ pūjāṁ cakre viśeṣataḥ
sakhitvāt tasya vai rājñaḥ prahṛṣṭenāntarātmanā
tataḥ = then; rājā = King Romapāda; yathā-nyāyam = unto King Daśaratha as per scriptural directions; pūjām = honor; cakre = offered; viśeṣataḥ = special; sakhitvāt = friendship; tasya vai = out of his; rājñaḥ = with King Daśaratha; prahṛṣṭena = and with a delighted; antar-ātmanā = mind.
Then King Romapāda offered special honor unto King Daśaratha as per scriptural directions out of his friendship with him and with a delighted mind.
