Chapter 11: Daśaratha Brings Ṛśyaśṛṅga to Ayodhyā
Text 1.11.18
रोमपादेन चाख्यातमृषिपुत्राय धीमते।
सख्यं सम्बन्धकं चैव तदा तं प्रत्यपूजयत्॥
romapādena cākhyātam ṛṣi-putrāya dhīmate
sakhyaṁ sambandhakaṁ caiva tadā taṁ pratyapūjayat
romapādena ca = Romapāda; akhyātam = informed; ṛṣi-putrāya = son of the sage; dhīmate = the intelligent; sakhyam = about their friendship; sambandhakam = relationship; ca eva = and; tadā = then; tam = Daśaratha; pratyapūjayat = Ṛśyaśṛṅga honored.
Romapāda informed the intelligent son of the sage about their friendship and relationship. Then, Ṛśyaśṛṅga honored Daśaratha.
Romapāda informed Ṛśyaśṛṅga about his relationship with Daśaratha, that he was the the seminal father of Śāntā.
