Chapter 12: Preparation for the Aśvamedha Sacrifice
Text 1.12.11
ऋश्यशृङ्गपुरोगाश्च प्रत्यूचुर्नृपतिं तदा।
सम्भाराः सम्भ्रियन्तां ते तुरगश्च विमुच्यताम्॥
ṛśyaśṛṅga-purogāś ca pratyūcur nṛpatiṁ tadā
sambhārāḥ sambhriyantāṁ te turagaś ca vimucyatām
ṛśyaśṛṅga-purogāḥ = the brāhmaṇas headed by Ṛśyaśṛṅga; ca = also; pratyūcuḥ = replied; nṛpatim tadā = to the king; sambhārāḥ = sacrificial ingredients; sambhriyantām = arrange for; te = the; turagaḥ = the horse; ca = and; vimucyatām = release.
The brāhmaṇas headed by Ṛśyaśṛṅga also replied to the king: Arrange for the sacrificial ingredients and release the horse.
