Chapter 13: Daśaratha Goes to the Sacrificial Arena
Text 1.13.25
अङ्गेश्वरं महाभागं रोमपादं सुसत्कृतम्।
वयस्यं राजसिंहस्य समानय यशस्विनम्॥
aṅgeśvaraṁ mahā-bhāgaṁ romapādaṁ susatkṛtam
vayasyaṁ rāja-siṁhasya samānaya yaśasvinam
aṅga-iśvaram = king of Aṅga; mahā-bhāgam = the greatly fortunate; romapādam = Romapāda; susatkṛtam = he is a well-respected; vayasyam = contemporary; rāja-siṁhasya = of the emperor; samānaya = personally, bring; yaśasvinam = and famous.
Personally bring the greatly fortunate king of Aṅga, Romapāda. He is a well respected and famous contemporary of the Emperor.
