ततो वसिष्ठप्रमुखाः सर्व एव द्विजोत्तमाः।
ऋश्यशृङ्गं पुरस्कृत्य यज्ञकर्मारभंस्तदा।
यज्ञवाटगताः सर्वे यथाशास्त्रं यथाविधि॥
tato vasiṣṭha-pramukhāḥ sarva eva dvijottamāḥ
ṛśyaśṛṅgaṁ puraskṛtya yajña-karmārabhaṁs tadā
yajña-vāṭa-gatāḥ sarve yathā-śāstraṁ yathā-vidhi
tataḥ = then; vasiṣṭha-pramukhāḥ = headed by Vasiṣṭha; sarva eva = all; dvija-uttamāḥ = the excellent twice-borns—the sponsor and the priests; ṛśyaśṛṅgam = Ṛśyaśṛṅga; puraskṛtya = keeping in front; yajña-karma = their respective sacrificial duties; ārabhan = began; tadā = then; yajña-vāṭa-gatāḥ = reached the sacrificial arena; sarve = and all of them; yathā-śāstram = according to the scriptures; yathā-vidhi = in due order.
Then all the excellent twiceborn—the sponsor and the priests—headed by Vasiṣṭha, keeping Ṛśyaśṛṅga in front, reached the sacrificial arena, and all of them then began their respective duties in due order according to the scriptures.
