Bāla-kāṇḍa
Chapter 18: The Advent of Rāma, Lakṣmaṇa, Bharata and Śatrughna
Text 1.18.27

सर्वे वेदविदः शूराः सर्वे लोकहिते रताः।
सर्वे ज्ञानोपपन्नाश्च सर्वे समुदिता गुणैः॥

sarve vedavidaḥ śūrāḥ sarve loka-hite ratāḥ

jñānopapannāś ca sarve samuditā guṇaiḥ

sarve = all of Them; vedavidaḥ = studied the Vedas; śūrāḥ = those heroes studied Dhanurveda; sarve = all of; loka-hite = and, absorbed in the welfare of the worlds; ratāḥ = practiced the techniques taught in Dhanurveda; sarve = all of; jñāna-upapannāḥ ca = became endowed with the knowledge of Vedic teachings; sarve = all of Them; samuditāḥ = attained the result of acquiring such knowledge; guṇaiḥ = by manifesting compassion and other auspicious qualities.

All of Them studied the Vedas. All of those heroes studied Dhanurveda and, absorbed in the welfare of the worlds, practiced the techniques taught in Dhanurveda. All of Them became endowed with the knowledge of Vedic teachings. All of Them attained the result of acquiring such knowledge by manifesting compassion and other auspicious qualities.

This is a description of Their study of the Veda and so on after They received Their upanayana initiation. They became endowed with all Vedic knowledge, that is, They attained the perfection of all Vedic knowledge.
