Chapter 18: The Advent of Rāma, Lakṣmaṇa, Bharata and Śatrughna

यथार्हं पूजितास्तेन राज्ञा वै पृथिवीश्वराः।
मुदिताः प्रययुर्देशान् प्रणम्य मुनिपुङ्गवम्॥
yathārhaṁ pūjitās tena rājñā vai pṛthivīśvarāḥ
muditāḥ prayayur deśān praṇamya muni-puṅgavam
yathā-arham = as appropriate; pūjitāḥ = honored; tena = by the; rājñā vai = king; pṛthivī-īśvarāḥ = the kings of the earth; muditāḥ = were delighted; prayayuḥ = and went; deśān = to their countries; praṇamya = after offering obeisances; muni-puṅgavam = unto Vasiṣṭha, the best of sages.
The kings of the earth, honored as appropriate by the king, were delighted and went to their countries after offering obeisances unto Vasiṣṭha, the best of sages.
