Text 1.18.44

तेषां तद्वचनं श्रुत्वा सपुरोधाः समाहितः।
प्रत्युज्जगाम तं हृष्टो ब्रह्माणमिव वासवः॥

teṣāṁ tad vacanaṁ śrutvā sapurodhāḥ samāhitaḥ
pratyujjagāma
taṁ hṛṣṭo brahmāṇam iva vāsavaḥ

teṣām = their; tad vacanam = words; śrutvā = upon hearing; sapurodhāḥ = and accompanied by his priests; samāhitaḥ = he was composed in mind; pratyujjagāma = the king got up to meet; tam = the sage; hṛṣṭaḥ = he was delighted; brahmāṇam = the four-headed Brahmā; iva = just as; vāsavaḥ = Indra [was when he met].

Upon hearing their words, the king got up to meet the sage. He was composed in mind and accompanied by his priests. He was as delighted as Indra [was when he met] the four-headed Brahmā.
