Chapter 22: The Departure of Rāma and Lakṣmaṇa with Viśvāmitra
Text 1.22.13
न श्रमो न ज्वरो वा ते न रूपस्य विपर्ययः।
न च सुप्तं प्रमत्तं वा धर्षयिष्यन्ति नैरृताः॥
na śramo na jvaro vā te na rūpasya viparyayaḥ
na ca suptaṁ pramattaṁ vā dharṣayiṣyanti nairṛtāḥ
na = nor; śramaḥ = fatigue; na = neither; jvaraḥ vā = fever; te = you will have your; na = nor; rūpasya = form; viparyayaḥ = will become deformed in any way; na ca = not; suptam = [even if You are] asleep; pramattam = inattentive [to them]; vā = or; dharṣayiṣyanti = will be able to overcome [You]; nairṛtāḥ = the rākṣasas.
You will have neither fatigue nor fever. Nor will Your form become deformed in any way. The rākṣasas will not be able to overcome [You] [even if You are] asleep or inattentive [to them].
