Chapter 22: The Departure of Rāma and Lakṣmaṇa with Viśvāmitra

ततो वायुः सुखस्पर्शो विरजस्को ववौ तदा।
विश्वामित्रगतं रामं दृष्ट्वा राजीवलोचनम्॥
tato vāyuḥ sukha-sparśo virajasko vavau tadā
viśvāmitra-gataṁ rāmaṁ dṛṣṭvā rājīva-locanam
tataḥ vāyuḥ = wind; sukha-sparśaḥ = that was pleasing to touch; virajaskaḥ = and free from dust; vavau = blew; tadā = at that time; viśvāmitra-gatam = following Viśvāmitra; rāmam = Rāma; dṛṣṭvā = seeing; rājīva-locanam = the lotus-eyed.
Seeing the lotus-eyed Rāma following Viśvāmitra, wind that was pleasing to touch and free from dust blew at that time.
