Chapter 24: The History of Sarayū

राघवस्य वचः श्रुत्वा कौतूहलसमन्वितः।
कथयामास धर्मात्मा तस्य शब्दस्य निश्चयम्॥
rāghavasya vacaḥ śrutvā kautūhala-samanvitaḥ
kathayām āsa dharmātmā tasya śabdasya niścayam
rāghavasya = of Rāghava; vacaḥ = the words; śrutvā = hearing; kautūhala-samanvitaḥ = filled with curiosity; kathayām āsa = described; dharma-ātmā = the righteous soul; tasya = of that; śabdasya = sound; niścayam = the actual cause.
Hearing the words of Rāghava filled with curiosity, the righteous soul described the actual cause of that sound.
