Chapter 26: The Killing of the Demoness Tāṭakā
Text 1.26.38
मुक्तशापं वनं तच्च तस्मिन्नेव तदाहनि।
चम्पकाशोकपुन्नागमल्लिकाद्यैः सुशोभितम्॥
mukta-śāpaṁ vanaṁ tac ca tasminn eva tadāhani
campakāśoka-punnāga-mallikādyaiḥ suśobhitam
mukta-śāpam = became free from the cursed disturbances; vanam = forest; tat ca = hat; tasmin eva tadā ahani = on that day, at that very moment; campaka-aśoka-punnāga-mallikā-adyaiḥ = with campaka, aśoka, white lotus, mallikā and others; suśobhitam = it became very beautiful.
On that day, at that very moment, that forest became free from the cursed disturbances. It became very beautiful with campaka, aśoka, white lotus, mallikā and others.
