Chapter 26: The Killing of the Demoness Tāṭakā
Text 1.26.7
तस्य संरम्भमालोक्य सभ्रातुर्मुनिपुङ्गवः।
स हर्षमतुलं लेभे रामं साध्विति चाब्रवीत्॥
tasya saṁrambham ālokya sabhrātur muni-puṅgavaḥ
sa harṣam atulaṁ lebhe rāmaṁ sādhv iti cābravīt
tasya = Lord Rāma’s; saṁrambham = fury; ālokya = noticing; sabhrātuḥ = and His brother’s; muni-puṅgavaḥ = best of sages; saḥ = the; harṣam atulam lebhe = became incomparably delighted; rāmam = Rāma; sādhu iti = “good”; ca = and; abravīt = told.
Noticing Lord Rāma’s and His brother’s fury, the best of sages became incomparably delighted and told Rāma, “Good!”
