कृतार्थोऽस्मि महाबाहो कृतं गुरुवचस्त्वया।
सिद्धाश्रमं सत्यं कृतं राम महायशः।
स हि रामं प्रशस्यैवं ताभ्यां सन्ध्यामुपागमत्॥
kṛtārtho ’smi mahā-bāho kṛtaṁ guru-vacas tvayā
siddhāśramaṁ satyaṁ kṛtaṁ rāma mahā-yaśaḥ
sa hi rāmaṁ praśasyaivaṁ tābhyāṁ sandhyām upāgamat
kṛta-arthaḥ asmi = and so I am grateful to You; mahā-bāho = O mighty-armed; kṛtam guru-vacaḥ tvayā = You have carried out the order of Your father; siddhāśramam satyam kṛtam = You have made the name Siddhāśrama true to its name; rāma = Rāma; mahā-yaśaḥ = of great fame; saḥ hi rāmam praśasya evam = having glorified Rāma thus; tābhyām = with Rāma and Lakṣmaṇa; sandhyām upāgamat = Viśvāmitra began his evening sandhyā-vandana ritual.
O mighty-armed Rāma of great fame, You have carried out the order of Your father and so I am grateful to You. You have made the name Siddhāśrama true to its name. Having glorified Rāma thus, Viśvāmitra began his evening sandhyā-vandana ritual with Rāma and Lakṣmaṇa.
