Chapter 31: Viśvāmitra, Rāma and Lakṣmaṇa Depart for Mithilā
Text 1.31.22

रामोऽपि सहसौमित्रिर्मुनींस् तान् अभिपूज्य च।
अग्रतो निषसादाथ विश्वामित्रस्य धीमतः॥

rāmo ’pi saha-saumitrir munīṁs tān abhipūjya ca
agrato
niṣasādātha viśvāmitrasya dhīmataḥ

rāmaḥ api = Śrī Rāmacandra also; saha-saumitriḥ = along with the son of Sumitrā; munīn = sages; tān = unto the; abhipūjya ca = offered His respectful obeisances and; agrataḥ = then sat; niṣasāda atha = in front of the; viśvāmitrasya = Viśvāmitra; dhīmataḥ = intelligent.

Along with the son of Sumitrā, Śrī Rāmacandra offered His respectful obeisances unto the sages and then sat in front of the intelligent Viśvāmitra.
