Chapter 32: The History of Kuśanābha and His Daughters
Text 1.32.22
तासां तद्वचनं श्रुत्वा वायुः परमकोपनः।
प्रविश्य सर्वगात्राणि बभञ्ज भगवान्प्रभुः॥
tāsāṁ tad vacanaṁ śrutvā vāyuḥ parama-kopanaḥ
praviśya sarva-gātrāṇi babhañja bhagavān prabhuḥ
tāsām = their; tat vacanam = words; śrutvā = upon hearing; vāyuḥ = Vāyu; parama-kopanaḥ = became extremely angry; praviśya = entering; sarva-gātrāṇi = into all of their bodies; babhañja = he distorted them into hunchbacks; bhagavān = the glorious; prabhuḥ = Lord.
Upon hearing their words, the glorious Lord Vāyu became extremely angry. Entering into all of their bodies, he distorted them into hunchbacks.
