Chapter 32: The History of Kuśanābha and His Daughters

ऋषेस्तु वचनं श्रुत्वा चत्वारो लोकसम्मताः।
निवेशं चक्रिरे सर्वे पुराणां नृवरास्तदा॥
ṛṣes tu vacanaṁ śrutvā catvāro loka-sammatāḥ
niveśaṁ cakrire sarve purāṇāṁ nṛ-varās tadā
ṛṣeḥ tu = of the [royal] sage Kuśa; vacanam = the words; śrutvā = upon hearing; catvāraḥ = four; loka-sammatāḥ = with the approval of the public; niveśam cakrire = constructed urban settlements; sarve = all; purāṇām = for the citizens; nṛ-varāḥ = best of men; tadā = of those.
Upon hearing the words of the [royal] sage Kuśa, all four of those best of men, with the approval of the public, constructed urban settlements for the citizens.
