Chapter 33: Kuśanābha’s Daughters marry Brahmadatta
Text 1.33.1

तस्य तद्वचनं श्रुत्वा कुशनाभस्य धीमतः।
शिरोभिश्चरणौ स्पृष्ट्वा कन्याशतमभाषत॥

tasya tad vacanaṁ śrutvā kuśanābhasya dhīmataḥ
śirobhiś
caraṇau spṛṣṭvā kanyā-śatam abhāṣata

tasya = his; tat = the vacanam = words; śrutvā = hearing; kuśanābhasya = of Kuśanābha; dhīmataḥ = intelligent; śirobhiḥ caraṇau spṛṣṭvā = offered obeisances unto his feet; kanyā-śatam = his hundred daughters; abhāṣata = and spoke as follows.

Hearing the words of the intelligent Kuśanābha, his hundred daughters offered obeisances unto his feet and then spoke as follows.

This chapter describes the exceptional tolerance of King Kuśanābha who heard the words of his daughters.
