Canto 1 - Boyhood
Bāla-kāṇḍa
Chapter 33: Kuśanābha’s Daughters marry Brahmadatta
Text 1.33.14

स च तां कालयोगेन प्रोवाच रघुनन्दन।
परितुष्टोऽस्मि भद्रं ते किं करोमि तव प्रियम्॥

sa ca tāṁ kāla-yogena provāca raghu-nandana
parituṣṭo
’smi bhadraṁ te kiṁ karomi tava priyam

saḥ ca = he; tām = her; kāla-yogena = over time; provāca = told; raghu-nandana = O beloved of the Raghus; parituṣṭaḥ asmin = I am satisfied; bhadram te = let there be auspiciousness unto you; kim karomi tava priyam = what can I do to make you happy.

O beloved of the Raghus, over time he told her, “Let there be auspiciousness unto you. I’m satisfied. What can I do to make you happy?”

Kāla-yogena indicates that the great sage spoke to her over time when her service had attained maturity over time.
